Going by the reaction here I’m thinking the Carlin-worship is more of an American thing. I’ve said similar things on American sites and been crucified for it.

In my opinion, he’s never really “haha” funny, but he is bloody great. Fantastic wordsmith or whatever.

He was an angry man, conveyed his views very well too.

I heard a great description of him once “Lenny Bruce, only good”
