It’s been quite a while since I pimped this properly and I have more readers dropping in these days, so I might as well be blatant…
Ill Repute is an online fiction project by myself and David Maybury concerning the adventures of estimable men-about-town Eli Mordino and George Fournier. We update more or less once a week (for a given value of “more or less”) and we’re currently in the middle of our first story arc (story arcs: just like you see on the television). Any more description I try to give will descend into noncey apron-wringing so I shall link you to the first post and leave you it.
Is there an official estimate on them or is that part of the fun? Coming up with our own estimates and then comparing them to yours at the end. If so my estimate is 27.3.

I don’t know, what scale are you working on Halpin? Is 27.3 good?
The chronology thing is an unfortunate limitation of the blog format, which we could only really sort out by writing backwards*. And I ain’t no Jonathan Nolan. Hayever, the plan is that every time we finish an arc we’re going to compile it into pdf and html formats and let people download it.
(*I’m no wordpress expert, does anyone know another way around this? By all means, let me know.)

i was thinking more of a slapdash copy and paste them into the one post jobbie – not to move the posts as they are but to have the uberpost in the sidebar as an alternative, for those who like a start-to-finish(ish) read.

So you are positing an optional uberpost. That is a very decent idea. Also, Optional Uberpost is a good name for a German electro band.
It sounds more like a military slang term for a great job. The scale is something of a non-existant wavy thing in my mind. Like a snake made of fear and contemptuous bad manners. 27.3 is Quite good but still not a definite Yea or Nay as this is just the beginning. The scale goes from 1 to “Yes that was delicious, is there more?”
